St. James' CE First School & Nursery aims to serve our community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.

We encourage an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith, and promote Christian Values through the experience our school offers to all its pupils.

We are currently in the process of re-determining our school vision and values so that we can ensure we are moving forward and teaching exactly what the children and community need. We encourage full involvement from all of our stakeholders in this process and ultimately turn this over to the children to make the final decisions- it is their school after all!
